Crowdsourced List of Jobs: #HIRING or #OPENTOWORK 2024 Edition

Hey there chicas & chicos!

I’m running a special job board that’s a bit different from the usual. Instead of just listing vacancies, I’m tapping into my network of over 22,000 connections on LinkedIn, to find the latest job opportunities shared directly in people’s feeds.

I started this back in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 crisis, to help fellow professionals and businesses navigate uncertain times. Seeing how this initiative has helped several people find new opportunities has been heartening, but the demand hasn’t gone away. So, I’m bringing it back for 2024. I get loads of weekly requests from my network looking for jobs or trying to fill positions, and while I’d love to help everyone individually, it can get a bit overwhelming!

I see myself as a connector, and this job board is my way of giving back to my network. By making it easier for the right people to connect, I hope to create more win-win situations where talented individuals find the perfect roles and companies find their ideal hires.

Did you know that a whopping 85% of jobs are filled through referrals? Networking is key, especially in today’s competitive job market. And here’s an interesting stat: women are 28% less likely to have strong professional networks, which can hold them back in their careers.
