Personal Update 🌟
After publishing my book ‘Freebies for Chicas’, I’m embarking on a new side project that’s incredibly close to my heart. Alongside my day job, I’m diving into something that brings together my great passions:
- 🥘 Food & Cooking
- ✈️ Travel & Global Affairs
- 👨👩👧👦 Family & Community
“Flavors of Home: Favorite Family Meals”
A Collection of Recipes from Around the World
I’m on a mission to compile a unique cookbook that showcases our favorite family meals from around the world—one for each country. Can I make it happen, or am I just crazy? Please do tell! 😊
I’m especially looking for contributions from expats who fondly remember the dishes that take them back to their home country, family, and loved ones. Your stories and recipes will help highlight our culinary traditions’ incredible diversity and richness. Inspired by the Olympics, I just witnessed in Paris; I can’t wait to see what we create together! 🌍
I’m still seeking #help from those in niche regions—Africa has been a challenge, and I’d love to connect with folks from the “stans” too (I do have Kazakhstan & Turkmenistan). Let’s harness the power of crowdsourcing to preserve these beautiful traditions. I’ve already got 50 countries committed after just a week – see the list below! 🌟
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s already offered their support—it means so much to me!
🙏 If you can help or know someone who can, please email or DM me!
My wish? To organize a big potluck with all contributors once the project is complete. Let’s see where this goes! ✨
I already have contributions from Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, North Macedonia, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, Vietnam, and Yemen.
